In Halifax, many people enjoy eating donairs. Donairs are made from pita bread, donair meat (spicy lamb), tomoatoes. onions, and milk sauce. The owners of the donair shops in Halifax are from Lebanon and they make great food. There is a famous place in downtown Halifax called "PIZZA CORNER". At Pizza Corner, there are 3 pizza/donair shops on the corners and a church at the other corner. My Halifax tradition is to buy a donair and to eat it on the sidewalk in front of the church. Usually when you eat donairs, the sauce spills from the donair onto your hand. It is very messy, very good food.
